Ha ha! I just posted my year-end summary too! http://www.paperstarfish.pretyposies.com. I'm sewing today and have made a commitment to finish up some UFOs in 2013!

Everything is beautiful! But I think my favorite is still that sewing machine cover with the top part in that elongated log cabin! I captured a pic of it for my inspiration folder……I want to make a quilt of it one day! It's fantastic!

You should be very proud of such a productive and inspiring year! :o)

Your quilts are such an inspiration to me, it is so nice to see them all together. All the best for the new year.

I'm new to posting comments (this is my first ever!). I encounted you in the "cityscapes" class at Thimble Pleasures last winter. (There were many people there, so I don't expect you to remember me). Anyway, I liked your work in class and started reading your blog at that point. I have enjoyed it very much and learned a lot too. So please allow me to note that you missed at least one quilt in your yearly summary –one that I quite liked. It is a mini-quilt called "Stepping Stones" from February of 2012. You did it around the time you created "Helix," another favorite. I was intrigued by the effect of such close line quilting. I appreciate the many close-ups of your quilting as well as the design and construction of your quilt tops. All in all, you have been an inspiration!

Lol! You are so right! I was actually looking at "Stepping Stones" this morning and wondered if I had put it in the review. I guess not! Thank you for pointing out my oversight! And thank you for your kind words about my work!
Thank you for leaving a comment and congrats on joining the blog "conversation"!

The last comment says it is from "Kevin" (my husband) rather than me (Mary). As I noted in that comment, this is my first experience with google friends. I thought I had created an identity for myself through our mutual email, but clearly I still have a lot to learn. I just didn't want you to get the wrong impression.

Thanks, Mary! I didn't remember a man in the Cityscapes class so I figured you were a woman writing under a man's name. No problem! I'd love to respond to you by email. Have you considered listing your email address in your profile? I'd love to respond to your comment via email.

Nicole, I love this quilt block and the display options you presented by way of EQ7. They are all fabulous and like you said "the possibilities are endless." I have always been inspired by your work and like it so much that I've listed your blog on my blog as one of the blogs I read regularly. I so enjoy the things you come up with–what creativity!

You really have had an amazing year, Nicole! I've said it before, but I just really love your work and you are so inspiring! Love that you got your long-arm and can work even faster now – haha. Wishing you the best in 2013!
