Jelly bean is a traditional string quilt made modern by the use of bright, bold fabrics. The colors I used reminded me of a jar of jelly beans, hence the name. I had so much fun making Jelly Bean that I made the same quilt twice, mainly to experiment with the kind of foundation for the string blocks – first with paper and then with fabric.
