After finishing up my house mini, I got to work on my project for the EZ Dresden Challenge blog hop. Here’s a sneak peek of what I’ll share with you on June 9th. As you can see, it’s a work in progress, threads and all.
I also cut all the pieces for the nap mat covers I’m making for my daughter’s preschool. Now if only they would jump under the presser foot and sew themselves together… Sigh.
I stopped by my LQS yesterday to take advantage of a sale they have going on. I picked up this fabric and visions of a quilt started forming in my mind. I have some of the other fabrics in the Sarah Jane Children at Play collection, but it wasn’t until I saw the writing on this one, “Just stay little,” that I found a motivation for using it. I want to say, “Just stay little,” to my 1-year old daughter, so this quilt will be for her. I can’t wait to get started on it!
Linking up to W.i.P. Wednesday…

I made a quilt top with the boyish prints in Children at Play for my son. That's a cute line!
What a fun project for the pre-school.
Huh, fancy not sewing themselves, silly nap mats… ;o)
Oh, just stay little, – I want to hang that on my youngest's wall! Excited for your Dresden – just got my ruler yesterday.

Just wondering…what do you do with the threads??? Bury them or just cut them??? Sorry I am not an expert!!!
Looking forward to seeing more of your take on the Dresden.
The fabric is too cute, really. I'm no mom yet but seeing a friend's baby boy growing up via pictures over the past ten months or so has me already understand the significance of the quote. Precious.
