A Boxing Day Finish

by Nicole

I hope you are enjoying the holidays!

I spent Christmas day relaxing with my family and my almost finished quilt, but it wasn’t until the next day that I finished the quilt by adding the binding.

It’s all done now and ready for next Christmas.

It feels good to take this one from scraps to blocks to a finished quilt, especially after the blocks lived for a year in my closet.
Now to tackle the other blocks and tops that are waiting for my attention.

This turned out really nice Nicole! Glad you were able to enjoy it a bit for Christmas, and it'll be a special treat next year!

Yay, glad you got it done in the end, although the good thing about Christmas is that it rolls round every year, so if you miss one year, there's always the next :oD

I just love this Christmas quilt!! It's -25º here in Minnesota this morning and this would be the perfect quilt to cuddle under!

Beautiful Christmas quilt. I really need to make one too. I have a whole pile of fabric, just no inspiration on what to do with it. I love how bright and cheery yours turned out.

This quilt is inspirational. I don't have any Christmas stash to use, but with after-season sales, I intend to get myself some and make a quilt like yours. Think I'll make a New Year's resolution to finish by next Christmas. Would you mind telling me the size of your blocks?

I love this. I have the same pattern and very similar fabrics (one of Kate Spain's Xmas lines) waiting to be made up into something hopefully as lovely. Your quilting is fab – what backing did you use? Great Boxing Day finish x

I really live this quilt. Like I used to tell a friend of mine- I think I have one of these in me.

I love this quilt! Loops are always a great quilting design. Your bright boxes of color are just great. I think this is my favorite Christmas quilt that I've seen. So beautiful!
