What Did You Stitch Up in January?

by Nicole

It’s been one month since I started blogging.  And I’m loving it!

Thanks to all the folks who have stopped by and checked out the newest blog on the block! A special thank you goes to all of you that have signed up as followers. Your comments and interest have encouraged me to keep going.

Here’s a recap of what I stitched up this past month:

Improv Freedom – ahhh, these blues and greens remind me of the Caribbean.

My favorite – this one makes me happy. It’s hanging in my office and when I open my door, it’s the first thing I see. I stop for a moment and smile each time I see it. I’m thinking of calling it, “Happy Daze.”

Hoot! Hoot! I don’t often make the same design twice. But I made an exception with this one. I’m so glad I did.

I’m linking up with Fresh Sewing Day at Lily’s Quilts to celebrate January’s progress.

I’m also linking up with Small Blog Meet at Lily’s Quilts, which is a linky party for itty bitty blogs like mine to help get to know others in blog land.

So, now it’s your turn. What did you stitch up this past month? Feel free to leave me a comment and let me know what handiwork you created in January.

Thanks for stopping by!

Great quilts – I especially like the straight line quilting you did on them.

Really? You made all that in January? I'm feeling rather slack now!

I love your Happy Daze quilt. You have inspired me….but I think I'll do a couple of things differently. Perhaps I'll create a few pre-pieced "logs" to add visual interest.

Love your work. Found you via the Small Blog Meet. I don't find many African-American quilt bloggers, so I was very excited to find you. I subscribed to you blog and am looking forward to see what you accomplish in February. 🙂
